The player will want to have the inquisitor discharge the Anchor (the new power they received at the beginning of the Trespasser DLC), which makes the entire party invulnerable for a brief period. Even Barriers are less effective against this particular spell. The purple firewall will immediately kill the Inquisitor or other companions who try to walk through it unprotected. They will see a wall of purple fire blocking them from a chest and the note. Players should climb the ladder there to seek the Codex entry. In the game's Trespasser DLC, Codices will unlock as players discover and attempt to learn more about the Qunari plot against Orlais.
